Stack 'em high

Hello ice cream sundaes, happy happy Thursday to one and all : ) I am pretty hyper tonight which is a bit odd as it is Thursday after all! I am so super busy at work at the moment, lots of my pupils have the first part of their GCSE exam in January so it's a busy old time, thankfully I am coping well although it may be a different story come the end of term! Still, I have that glorious 2 week holiday to look forward to, and hubby has a similar amount of time off so we're all set! : )

Today I thought I would blog about something that I love love love and cannot get enough of... I am talking about gorgeous, glittery bracelets! It's funny because I didn't really like wearing bracelets until a few years ago, preferring earrings and necklaces. These days however, I am always drawn to bracelets, and love wearing a range of higher end brands stacked up together, I think that makes such an impact. Here are some of my favourites ...

Jinkksy gold and crystal Bonita bracelet £65. The Jinkksy brand only came to my attention recently, but I really love the gorgeous, glittery styles, favoured by lots of UK celebrities. I like the gold tone of this one.
Pandora bracelet, £60 for bracelet and £25 upwards for charms. I absolutely adore Pandora bracelets, and love the idea of building up the charms and linking them with special memories and events. I had a gorgeous Pandora bracelet with lots of beautiful charms mostly bought by hubby but (oh my it pains me to say this!) I lost it when I was shopping... : ( I hope to replace it in the new year and start building up my charm collection again.
Pink Thomas Sabo bracelet £25. I have this bracelet and wear it everyday, it was a present for Christmas last year from hubby. I also have an engagement and wedding ring charm on the silver part.
Nomination bracelet. This Italian brand only emerged in Britain just over a year ago but I like the sleek style and the idea of adding charms over a period of time (very similar to Pandora). I plan to add one of these bracelets to my collection in the near future.

Jinkksy Love bracelet £42. I like the style of this Jinkksy, a little less bling, but still shiny and gorgeous.

Does anyone have any of these bracelets?? I just can't get enough of them! Well that's everything for today, I'm off to bed for a little bit of marking and reading : ) Sooo excited for tomorrow, Twilight eeee XOXO

Saturday Style

Hey cupcakes, happy Saturday to you all, hope you have had a great day! I have had a fabulous day, I had a bit of a shopping marathon with best friend Clare which was so fun. We shopped all day and I bought some great stuff, a few tops from H & M, some makeup and a little treat for the house from one of my homeware stores, Dwell. We had a good look around one of my favourite jewellery shops, Thomas Sabo, and I spotted some bit and pieces for my Christmas list! So excited it seems to be getting closer and closer, nearly October now! We had lunch in one of my favourite restaurants, Cafe Rouge, I opted for a dessert and hot chocolate instead of a starter and thoroughly enjoyed their chocolate tarte and hot chocolate. Yum : )

Sleek Make up eye palette in Oh so special.  This is my second Sleek eye palette, I  have  had  the 'Storm' palette before and absolutely loved it. The eye shadows are highly pigmented and mineralised, meaning excellent results. The quality is fantastic too, they last all day long.
I spotted these in Dwell a while ago but they sold out so I've had to wait for them to come back in. Three wise monkeys set in white ceramic. Not a brilliant picture but they can be viewed in their full glory here. I am completely in love with this shop, everything is so cool and contemporary, I have my eye on a floor lamp next... ; )
I saw this top in H & M the other day when we went to town to get hubby's hair cut ,  I really like the  smart style but think it can be dressed up for work with a skirt, but just as easily worn with jeans at the weekend. Love the colours.
I really liked this little cardi as it's a bit different with the red stripes, plus I love the suede elbow patches!

Well that's everything for now, hubby and I are now relaxing with an Indian takeaway for dinner, X Factor on the telly and a nice new stack of magazines... bliss : ) xoxo

New Jewels

Hi dolls, hope your are all having a lovely week, almost Friday now yay! After the beautiful sunshine we have been enjoying in the UK this week, the weather was not so good today, raining constantly for much of the day. Luckily I had done all my shopping and trips out and spent the day packing and organising for our festival trip tomorrow! I am sooo excited and have everything prepared which makes me even happier. The suitcase is packed and sorted into day and night outfits, I have packed an extra bag of food and snacks, and lastly, I have printed all of the information I previously researched, including details of restaurants, castles and historic houses to visit, and directions to our hotel and the festival. Oh and i've packed the festival tickets, don't want to forget those! Hubby is home from work now so all we need to do is take it easy and wait for the fun to begin!

Anyways, todays post is a showcase of some new jewellery I have bought recently. I keep seeing gorgeous little gems everywhere I go and I can't help indulging! One shop I am really looking forward to visiting next week is Forever 21, which has opened a new branch on Oxford Street. I couldn't find it (did I ever mention I am rather directionally challenged!) when I visited Oxford Street the other day, so hubby has promised to help me find it when we head to London next Tuesday. I keep reading about how good the shop is, and how brilliant the jewellery is, so I am very excited!!

From top to bottom:

1) Shimmery green stone set on gold ring from H & M - £3.99

2) Amber gem stone drop earrings from New Look - £4.99

3) Bright pink and purple peace charm necklaces from Topshop - £1.50 each (in sale)

4) Silver with gemstone flower ring from New Look - £4.99

5) Long silver chain with large purple stone necklace - £1.99 from Boots (in sale)

6) Gold chain and charms necklace - £12.99 vintage from Rokit Covent garden

7) Long chain gold necklace with turquoise stone - £1.99 from Boots (in sale)

I love the green stoned ring from H & M, and the necklaces from Boots were a complete bargain! I only noticed them by the door as I was leaving and couldn't resisit as they were such good value! Love the vintage necklace too as it is different and very 'ghetto gold' (Carrie's phrase for cocktail gold jewellery!) Hopefully I will be showcasing some of this jewellery this weekend at the festival!

Hope you like, I can't wait to share my festival outfits with you all when I get back! Enjoy the weekend, hope the weather is beautiful for you!! xoxo

A few little bits of Topshop

Just a quick post today, firstly I want to say happy weekend! Secondly a massive thank you to everybody who has followed my blog and commented on my posts over the past few weeks. It means so much to me that I have this support, and I have been completely overwhelmed by your interest and kind words. So thank you xxx

After my Topshop post yesterday, I thought it only right to go in store and have a look around. I was short for time as I only popped in after work and was later meeting a friend, so I had a quick look around and then settled on a lovely new pair of ballet pumps and some new jewellery.

I love the classic tan colour of the pumps and the tassell detail - reminds me of the golf shoes my dad used to wear when I was little! Posting this picture makes me feel a bit sad now as ballet shoes remind me of Amy Winehouse - she was always in those satin pink ballet pumps : ( So sad for Amy and her family.

This picture isn't great but I love the key and the peace symbol inside the circle part of the key. I have noticed a lot of peace themed jewellery on the high street and I like it... Love little gold necklaces so much right now, they are fab for layering up. I also bought another little gold necklace with a pearl charm and a gold ring but it couldn't get them to photograph that well at this time (one day I will learn how to use my camera!!) but I will upload pics soon.

Hope you are all having lovely weekends, here's hoping for nice weather tomorrow!! xoxo
